Let's talk ABOUT THE FUTURE
At the current time Long Itch Astro has installed one observatory at a local school.
A second observatory dome has been installed at another local school.
I also have an observatory in my rear garden
A Pulsar 9 foot diameter dome which contains an Opticstar ARC-152 Quad f5 refractor, mounted on a Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro mount which has been 'dark-tuned' and further upgraded with a Rowan Astronomy belt drive kit and one of their RA zero back lash kits.
A Pulsar 2.1m diameter dome, containing a Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro mount which has had and a belt drive system fitted.
The mount has been upgraded even further with a Rowan Astronomy zero back lash kit.
The main telescope is an iStar 150mm f5 refractor.
My Sky Shed
My Sky Shed located in my back garden, is self designed, of wooden construction with a roll off roof and contains a Skywatcher EQ8-R Pro mount with an Orion Optics ODK12 telescope, an electronic filter wheel containing 7 filters and a Canon Ra digital camera.
