NGC1647

NGC1647 tends to be overlooked, or should I say under-observed, because of its proximity to the Pleidaes and the Hyades.
It is a large group of stars but looks much better in binoculars rather than a telescope.

NGC1647 is a small open cluster of about 90 stars and is visible with binoculars close to Aldebaran.
